Sound Therapist at Om Handicrafts
Born into a family of metallurgists from the ancient Newari city of Patan (the City of Metals), Nepal, I, Abhishek Chitrakar am the Manager, Sound Therapist and mentor at our boutique center, Om Handicrafts. Me and my family have been working with the ancient tradition of the alloy of metals and practicing the centuries old tradition of using Himalayan Healing Bowls for Meditaion and Yoga for generations now. Exposed to the knowledge and use of the Nepalese method of therapy from childhood, I have been professionally conducting sound healing sessions, teaching classes and training healers from different parts of the world for the last 2012.
For decades, our family has been producing, promoting, as well as preserving knowledge of sound healing with a vision of reaching out into the global audience in order to share this distinct aspect of the culture from Nepal. We have been introducing our clients from around the world to the traditional Nepalese techniques of healing with meditation bowls. With our belief in authenticity and integrity, we aim to develop and conserve our culture and heritage, and deliver the best products from Patan, Nepal.
